Watercolor Paintings/Drawings

Skateboarder, Bondi Beach, Sydney, Australia
(55×40 cm)

A nostalgic watercolor and pencil piece capturing a skateboarder in motion at Bondi Beach. The soft wash of color contrasts with the pencil-sketched crowd, beach and water in the background – everyday beach life frozen in time.

Hide and Seek, Meo Hilltribe children, Thailand
(55×40 cm)

A tender moment from Northern Thailand, where Meo hilltribe children play hide and seek, their eyes focused on the wooden wall in front of them. The youngest, clearly not pleased, stands apart from the fun. The children are brought to life in soft watercolors, while the rustic wooden wall, sketched in pencil, adds a touch of simplicity and depth.

Billions & Billions Served, Hollywood, California
(40×55 cm)

A take on global icons, where McDonald’s meets the Hollywood Hills in a blend of pencil and watercolor.

Acrylic Paintings

Lifeguard Jeep, Hermosa Beach, LA, California (60×40 cm)
Acrylic painting inspired by a sun-soaked photo of a Lifeguard jeep on Hermosa Beach, Los Angeles. A tribute to California’s lifeguard legacy, captured in bold colors and nostalgic vibes.

Hard Rock Café, Chiang Mai, Thailand
(50×50 cm)

Acrylic painting from the heart of Northern Thailand. The bright green Vespa sits proudly on top of the Hard Rock Café sign—playful and a bit unexpected. In the background, an old wooden house reminds us of slower days. A mix of global flair and local soul, just like Chiang Mai itself. Simple, warm, and a little bit curious.

Mickey Balloon, Disney World, Florida, USA
(50×65 cm)
Acrylic painting from Disney World, Florida, featuring a Mickey Mouse balloon floating joyfully with the iconic Cinderella Castle in the background.

Miscellaneous

“Mitt City” Falkenberg
(40×50 cm)

T-shirt design from 1989, commissioned by the shop cooperation, “Mitt City” in Falkenberg. The vibrant artwork showcases the town’s highlights with a playful blend of illustrations of the attractions in Falkenberg – include the historic “Tullbron”, sunny “Skrea Strand” with playing in sea and windsurfing. Fishing by the “Ätran” river, playing table tennis and golf are also featured, inviting visitors to enjoy the charm and variety of Falkenberg.

The Christmas Card

Wikipedia: “A Christmas card is a greeting card sent as part of the traditional celebration of Christmas in order to convey between people a range of sentiments related to Christmastide and the holiday season. Christmas cards are usually exchanged during the weeks preceding Christmas Day by many people (including some non-Christians) in Western society and in Asia. The traditional greeting reads “Wishing you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year“.
The first commercially available card was commissioned by Sir Henry Cole and designed by John Callcott Horsley in London 1843.

Heard that after 180 years of history, this year (2023) might be the last year people send Christmas cards by “snail mail”, since the postage is going to be very expensive in 2024, due to the decrease in letter correspondence and increase in costs.

Back in the 1980’s I designed and printed Christmas post cards and sent to family, friends and customers. Made by airbrush on paper (except one that is with ink)

In 2011 I started designing digital season greeting cards, playing with Adobe Photoshop:

And Happy New Year cards:
